Question: Where and how can I obtain a license for SQue?
Answer: You can obtain a license certificate with a license serial number only through your local Canon representative.
With that license serial number you select the type of license from the "LICENSE TYPE" menu.
Then you enter the license serial number from the certificate and follow the further instructions.
Question: The SQue License Site does not recognise the license serial number. What should I do?
Answer: First make sure you have the correct license serial number and entered it correctly.
A license serial number consists of 25 upper case characters and numbers, of which the last 16 characters are all numbers.
If the site still does not accept the license key please write a note at: licensing@mv-informatique.com.
Question: I have more than one Ethernet board on my server. Which MAC or Ethernet address should I use?
Answer: Each SQue distribution contains a script GETMACADDRESS.
As a root user please run: ./GETMACADDRESS
This will normally show the correct MAC or Ethernet address to use for SQue.
Question: Is there a difference between a license for SQue X11/Motif and one for SQue Text Mode?
Answer: Althought the programs SQue X11/Motif and SQue Text Mode are totally different, the license is identical.
Hence on this site you can obtain license keys for both program versions, which are all called "SQue" on this site.
Question: Where can I find a license for the Linux product CQue?
Answer: The CQue product is a printer driver for Linux and is fully free or charge.
